MTA Biorep is bioceramic reparative cement with fast setting time. Its long lasting action allows an efficient regeneration process and peri-radicular tissue remineralization.

INDICATIONS
- Treatment of root canal and furcation perforations, caused by carious or iatrogenic lesions
- Treatment of root perforations, caused by internal resorption
- Pulp capping
- Pulpotomy (removal of the affected crown portion of the pulp, preserving the vitality and function of the remaining radicular portion)
- Apexogenesis (induction of root development in vital teeth with an inflamed coronal pulp)
- Apexification (induction of a mineralized barrier formation at the root tip of young permanent teeth with incomplete root development and a necrotic pulp)
- Periapical surgery with reverse filling
TECHNICAL DATA

APPLICATION
Automatic mix:
- Sterilize all material used for MTA BIOREP placement, insertion and compaction.
- Delicately open the single-dose capsule like illustrated in the protocol.
- Pour 4 drops of the liquid mix directly inside the capsule.
- Close the capsule and place it inside a standard mixing device (around 4200 rpm) for 20-30 seconds. (The final mix should be homogeneous and very workable/malleable)
- Place MTA BIOREP on the desired area with an instrument of choice and condense it with an instrument suited for this purpose.
Manual mix:
- Sterilize all material used for MTA BIOREP placement, insertion and compaction.
- Delicately open the single-dose capsule like illustrated in the protocol.
- Dispense the content of the single-dose capsule on a mixing pad.
- Pour 4 drops of the liquid mix on the mixing pad.
- Spatulate for 1 minute until the powder and liquid are completely homogenized. (The final mix should be homogeneous and very workable/malleable)
- Place MTA BIOREP on the desired area with an instrument of choice and condense it with an instrument suited for this purpose.
