Heximetro is an antiseptic mouth gel with triple action- that synergistically acts against aerobic & anaerobic pathogens in periodontal (gum) diseases.
Chlorhexidine offers action against aerobic pathogens like- S. sanguis, S. mutans (Chlorhexidine- binds with the phospholipids in the inner cell membrane causing cell wall integrity)
Metronidazole offers action against anaerobic pathogens like- P. gingivalis, etc (inhibits protein synthesis by interacting with DNA, and causes a loss of helical DNA structure and strand breakage)

Indications:
In Gingivitis/Gingival abscess
Periodontitis/ Periodontal abscess
Gum diseases
Deep pockets & lesions/ulcers, with anaerobic infections

Dose:
